How to use the extension
- Click the extension icon to open Settings.
- Enter one base domain per line in the whitelist.
- Enable automatic cleanup and click Save settings.
Whitelist matching
Adding example.com preserves history for example.com and all subdomains such as
www.example.com. It does not preserve unrelated domains such as notexample.com.
What gets removed?
Only browsing history outside the whitelist. Cookies, cache, passwords, downloads, form data, and website storage are not changed.
Known limitation
Chrome may stop extension background work before cleanup finishes if the browser process is force-quit. Normal tab and window closing is supported.
